Approach / Four stages
From first note to a name in your account.
Every placement runs through the same four stages. Durations below are what a willing seller and a responsive buyer usually manage; we tell you early if a file looks slower.

| 03 | Agreement | Price, who pays which fee, and the date escrow opens, confirmed in a short email both sides reply to. Your own counsel is welcome to read it. | 2–5 days | Agreed terms in writing |
| 04 | Settlement | You fund a licensed escrow service. The name moves to your registrar account or is pushed inside the same registrar. You confirm control, and only then is the seller paid. | 5–10 business days | The name, in your account, under your login |
Notes / On settlement
Who holds the money, and when.
- Funds sit with the escrow service, never with GlobeBoost, until you confirm the name is yours.
- Escrow asks for payment within about five business days of the agreement. Wire or card, depending on the amount.
- A move between two registrars can take up to five days. A push inside one registrar is often same-day.
- Registrars lock a name for 60 days after a transfer. It still works for your site and email during that time; it simply cannot move again.
- Changing where the name points (website, email records) is your call. We are glad to sit on a call with whoever manages it.
