Brooke Halvorsen
Principal · Acquisitions and placement
GlobeBoost is Brooke’s practice. She finds the businesses a name describes, writes to the people who run them, and stays on the file until the transfer is done. There is no hand-off to a junior and no call centre.
01 / The work
Around five years matching names to the companies they fit.
Brooke came to domain names from digital brand work, where the same problem kept coming up: a good local business, well regarded, sending customers to an address nobody could remember. Fixing that one detail often did more than the next round of advertising.
Most of the people she writes to own the business themselves or run its marketing. Clinics, trades, regional producers, family firms on their second generation. She keeps notes short and friendly, gives a real figure early, and follows the pace the owner sets. A “not now” is taken at its word.
She works on a small number of files at once, so each owner deals with the same person from the first email to the last registrar step.
02 / Denver
Downtown, a block off 17th Street.
The office is at Denver Place, in the Central Business District, a short walk from Union Station and the rebuilt 16th Street. The towers around it house energy and mining companies, healthcare operators, payments firms and a growing crowd of software teams.
A lot of GlobeBoost’s attention goes further out, though: the Front Range and mountain-town businesses, and their counterparts in other states, whose customers find them by typing a service and a place.
Hours
Monday to Friday, Mountain Time. Email is the quickest way to reach her.
03 / How she works
- One named person on every file, from first message to settlement.
- A single price, stated plainly, rather than an opening bid.
- Client money held by a licensed escrow service, never by GlobeBoost.
- No list sharing, no automated sequences after you say no.
